Each year, Capitol Commission Texas invites local churches to bring their own teams to join the tournament. Each team is entered into the regular tournament, but they may request to be simultaneously entered into the Church Challenge Side Contest to take home the traveling trophy.
A church may have several teams participate in the tournament.
3 of the 4 players must attend that church.
No matter the main tournament scores, the church team with the lowest score wins (church team could win both!)
